THE Island's Covid rolling rate has fallen today, daily data from Public Health England shows.

The rate dropped from 191.90 to 183.40 cases per 100,000 people. The UK rate is currently 275.

There were 31 cases added to the Island's cumulative total today, taking it to 8,132.

There were 21 cases confirmed yesterday (Tuesday) and 38 on Monday.

The Island has had 260 cases confirmed in the latest seven day period recorded by the government data, which takes us up to five days ago.

There were seven people with Covid in St Mary's Hospital on Tuesday July 27, the latest available hospital bed data.
