Nunwell Street in Sandown has sewage leaking from the pavement.
NUNWELL Street in Sandown has been closed so a sewage leak can be dealt with.
As previously reported, smelly sewage was pouring out of the pavement and down the road yesterday afternoon.
Island Roads has closed the road so Southern Water can carry out emergency repairs to the collapsed sewer.
The section closed is from its junction with Hill Street to its junction with Station Avenue.
A diversion will affect Hill Street, Station Avenue and Station Road.
