An ASDA worker who is living with breast cancer and two of her colleagues have braved the shave.
Leading the challenge, Sam Grist was facing losing her hair due to her treatment, so she shaved it off and donated it to the Little Princess Trust, which makes wigs for children with cancer.
Sam has raised more than £375 for Macmillian Cancer Support and £440 for Breast Cancer Now, along with an in-store collection which made almost £200 for Tickled Pink.
Leo Roberts, home shop manager, joined Sam in a head shave and co-worker Shaun Snape had his beard shaved off - for the first time in seven years.
Sam was also presented with a bouquet of flowers and a Kindle, to use during her chemotherapy.
Clare Jones, Asda community champion, said: "I am incredibly proud of all of them but especially Sam who is a remarkable lady and we all wish her well through her treatment."
