The publishers of the Wight Book are offering a special Christmas deal for the last remaining copies.

The Wight Book is a celebration of the Isle of Wight in an independent, large format, hardback book in a box sleeve.

Publishers say it celebrates our unique culture history, our dazzling array of activities, our stunning environment, and our spirit for innovation.

The 1,000 books were launched two years ago but have sold successfully throughout Lockdown.

Te book artfully reveals the Island in the words of 22 leading figures who live and work here, including County Press editor Alan Marriott.

There are also breathtaking images making it an ideal Christmas gift.

All proceeds of the book go to Island charities via WightAid.

The publishers said: "The Wight Book has already donated many thousands to local charities, so it is vital the last few books are sold by Christmas and local charities will get donations at the start of the New Year.
