THE number of patients with Covid-19 being treated at St Mary's Hospital has risen, according to the latest government figures.
Data correct on Tuesday, December 7, and published today (Thursday) shows 24 people occupying a bed at the Newport hospital.
Of those in hospital, five are currently being treated in a specialist ventilation bed.
More than 100 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed on the Isle of Wight today.
The Isle of Wight is still free of Omicron Covid cases, despite it being close to Portsmouth and Southampton, where cases have been confirmed.
Walk-in first, second and booster Covid jabs are available at Westridge Centre this Saturday.
You can pop in to the Ryde clinic any time between 9am and 3pm, and the jabs are available to anyone living on the Island.
