MORE than 100 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed on the Isle of Wight, according to the latest government data.
Public Health England figures released today (Friday) show 130 new cases.
Yesterday, 154 new cases were added to the Isle of Wight total, which now stands at 21,080.
The Island's rolling rate, per 100,000 people, has also risen.
Always five days behind, in the seven days to December 19, it was 586.1.
Yesterday, in the seven days to December 18, it was 564.3.
The Island age group with the highest rolling rate remains 35-39-year-olds, at 1,162.
A total of 122,186 new cases were recorded in the UK today, as the rolling rate reached 934.2.
