Isle of Wight fire crews rush to kitchen fire in Ventnor home
FIREFIGHTERS from Shanklin and Ventnor have been tackling a fire in Ventnor this afternoon (Sunday).
Fire crews were called to a small residential property on Marlborough Road at 3.40pm.
The cause of the fire was a cooker, which developed into a small kitchen fire.
They wore breathing apparatus and used two hose reels to clear the smoke.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue were stood down at 4.16pm.
