The Castle Inn on Newport High Street will not be stocking Russian vodka, like ‘Russian Standard’.
Posting on Facebook, The Castle Inn said: ‘Due to the conflict in the Ukraine we will not be stocking Russian owned vodka for the foreseeable future.’
The decision has been met with strong support from patrons.
