A MAN has been found not guilty of breaching Covid restrictions during lockdown.
The case against Thomas Talbot, 27, of Prior Crescent, Newport, was heard at a trial at the Isle of Wight Magistrates' Court last Thursday (March 3).
He was charged with being a person living in a Tier 4 area, leaving the place he was living, without reasonable excuse, on February 21, 2021.
He was in Cowes, away from his home in Newport, other than as permitted by the regulations.
He was found not guilty and his case was dismissed.
