THE latest government data shows 38 people in hospital with Covid-19 on the Isle of Wight.
Of those receiving treatment, two are currently on ventilators.
Last week, there were 47 Covid patients at St Mary's Hospital.
Meanwhile, more than 1,407 new Covid cases were confirmed on the Island in the last seven days.
While five days behind, the Island's rolling rate, in the seven days to March 26, was 1,252.3.
Last week, that figure stood at 1,317.
Five new Covid-related deaths were also reported this week.
It means 242 people have now died in hospital on the Isle of Wight, having contracted Covid-19.
A total of 404 Covid-related deaths have now been recorded on the Island since the start of the pandemic.
