Music and fun in the sun was the order of the day on Sunday in Ventnor

Ventnor charity PATCH said its Patch in the Park event was a success from start to finish.

Spokesperson Erika Arnold said: "The weather was superb, the crowds turned out, the music was amazing and friends met friends."

The event was put on by Matt Dodge, who played with his band The Bohemians.

There was a bucket collection and the generosity of the audience meant a record breaking £745.36 was raised.

Erika said: “We can’t thank people enough for supporting this event so well and giving so much to help those less fortunate in our local.”
