Filmed in February, Visit Isle of Wight provided the production crew with a list of businesses and venues.
Island businesses The Needles Sweet Manufactory, Grace's Bakery, The Royal and the Smoking Lobster at Ventnor, Wightwood Pizza, The Garlic Farm and Wight Coast Fossils made the final cut of the show, which will be seen on More4 on June 13 and Channel 4 on June 26.
Dan Chamber, co-founder and creative director at Blink Film - producers of the hour long show - said: "Filming on the Isle of Wight was such a delight. So many special places of interest, gorgeous accommodation, and first-class food.
"The only problem we had as producers was how to reduce it to just an hour. It could have been a six-part series!"
Ainsley Harriott said: "Great light, great food, great air – fresh air, I’ve never slept so well.
"You should come to the Isle of Wight, you could have the same experience!"
Grace Dent added: "Thank you for having us Isle of Wight, it’s been amazing!"
Will Myles, managing director at Visit Isle of Wight said: "I am very excited to see the Best of Britain by the Sea on Monday evening and I am looking forward to the reaction of people when they have seen it too.
‘We were very pleased to welcome Grace, Ainsley and the production team to the Island and am very glad at their reaction to the qualities the Island has to offer."
Best of Britain By The Sea premieres on More4 at 9pm on Monday, repeated on More4 at 11.15pm that night and then Sunday, June 26 on Channel 4 at 5pm.
