SOME bad news for those planning to travel with Red Funnel this morning (Friday) - several of its vehicle ferry sailings have now been cancelled.
The cross-Solent operator had already warned of delays earlier today due to a technical issue with the Red Eagle's forward main engine.
Now, the 9am sailing from Southampton and 10.30am sailing from Cowes have both been cancelled.
This, Red Funnel says, is owing to the same technical issue.

UPDATE:
Red Funnel is still experiencing delays of up to 60 minutes on its vehicle ferry service.
This, the cross-Solent operator says, is still due to an earlier technical issue with the Red Eagle.
Customers are being advised via SMS/email for new arrival information.
UPDATE 3.20pm:
There are still delays on the vehicle ferry. Ferries from Southampton delayed by up to 90 minutes, and ferries from East Cowes delayed for up to an hour.
