A BASINGSTOKE man has been ordered by a court to pay more than £1,000 in total after he drove without licence or insurance in a Berkshire town last year.

On December 19 2021, Kabinet Kaba, of Pinkerton Road, drove on the A332 Bagshot Road in Bracknell without the relevant drivers' licence.

In addition, on the same date the 29-year-old was found to be without appropriate insurance coverage.

At Oxford Magistrates' Court on June 10, Kaba was handed fines of £220 and £660.

H must also pay costs of £90 and an £88 surcharge, making a total of £1,058.

HE was disqualified from driving for six months, due to repeat offending, and his had eight penalty points added to his driving record.
