A RYDE man accused of causing shards of glass to hit a woman's face by hurling a jar at her during a row, has been found not guilty.

Eamonn Loughlin, 28, of High Street, always denied assaulting a woman by beating on March 1.

He appeared for trial at the Isle of Wight Magistrates' Court last week, where he was found not guilty and the case was dismissed.
