COASTGUARD helicopter was called into action this afternoon (Thursday, November 10) to help an injured man.
Ventnor Coastguard Rescue Team provided care for an injured man at around midday, and helped prepare a landing site for the coastguard helicopter from Lee-on-Solent at Seaclose Park in Newport.
This followed an incident near the Worsley Obelisk at Appuldurcombe Down.
The man was passed into the care of the ambulance service.
