Estate agent Cumbrian Properties has scooped silver in the 2022 British Property Awards for outstanding sales at its Penrith office, it has been announced. The win follows previous recognition for the firm from the national body, which has conferred one gold award on the Carlisle office and five on the Penrith branch in recent years. The gold medal for sales in the North West for 2022 went to JH Homes in Ulverston.

Following news of the gold award win for Carlisle, Adrian Hogarth, managing director of Cumbrian Properties, said he was “absolutely delighted” with the awards and praised his “wonderful” staff. “We won it in Carlisle this year and Penrith has won it for the last five consecutive years,” he said.
The British Property Awards' judging team carry out ‘mystery shops’ at every estate agent against a set of 25 criteria to reveal customer service levels.
They say the judging criteria is “both comprehensive and detailed, exploring different mediums, scenarios and time periods to ensure that agents have been rigorously and fairly judged”.
