A life raft which has been 'accidentally activated' off Bembridge has led to an emergency call-out for RNLI crews this morning (Monday).
HM Coastguard has said it is currently dealing with the recovery of the craft, between St Helens and Bembridge.
Bembridge RNLI was alerted at 9.15am.
It's understood no one is involved, or hurt in the incident. Crews are retrieving the raft to to ensure no one else endangers themselves by recovering it.
It remains ongoing.
