She will finish her course in September this year on the Registered Nursing Degree Apprenticeship programme and hopes to qualify in October later this year.
She said: "I feel incredibly proud to be advocating for current and future students whilst building better working environments for NHS staff. Having this reflected within the award categories means everything to me.
"Being shortlisted shows recognition within the prevalence of neurodiversity and I am excited to see where my continued journey leads me."
Isle of Wight NHS Trust Director of Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Health Professionals, Juliet Pearce, said: "I am so proud that Jade has been recognised by the Student Nursing Times judging panel, this truly is a wonderful achievement.
