THREE drivers have been arrested on suspicion of drug driving on the Isle of Wight following numerous police call-outs yesterday evening (Sunday, March 19).
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary said two drivers provided positive roadside drug wipes for cannabis, and one was positive for cocaine.
One of the drivers, a 33-year-old man from East Cowes, is also suspected of driving with no insurance and only a provisional licence.
His vehicle, a white Mercedes van, was seized and recovered by Bartletts Service Station in a lay-by on Whippingham Road near Priory School.
Officers were also called to several domestic-related incidents, road traffic incidents and a missing child, who police confirmed, was found safe and well.
