POLICE raided two Isle of Wight businesses yesterday morning (Monday, April 3) as part of an investigation into suspected Class B drugs supply.

Officers conducted a warrant at two commercial premises on Regent Street at 10.45am.

Several items were seized, including digital devices and suspected cannabis.

A Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary spokesperson has confirmed that the premises were Shanklin Vapours and The Hempire.

The businesses posted on their Facebook pages just after midday yesterday that due to 'unforeseen circumstances', both stores would be closed for the remainder of the day and apologised for any inconvenience caused.

Both businesses were open today.

Police enquiries remain ongoing.
