A dolphin has been found dead at St Helens Duver.

Bembridge Coastguard was called to the beach yesterday morning (Thursday).

Crews were alerted to the mammal, which had washed ashore, at 9.41am.

Photos and measurements of the dolphin were taken.

The information is to be passed to the Natural History Museum.
