It's Coronation day, which can only mean one thing: wild celebrations on the Isle of Wight and a feast fit for a King!

To mark the King's big day, Island attractions and residents have been getting creative in the kitchen.

Warning: the following pictures will make you hungry...

From traditional scones, to Coronation-style cookies, cakes, and ice cream - we've seen it all!

Here some of our favourite foods we've seen (so far)...

Union flag ice cream

Their ice cream is delicious at the best of times, but Toppings in Shanklin have taken it to another level to mark the occasion.

Their Coronation creation ice cream is available all through the weekend.

It is adorned with white and blue-coloured ice cream, and topped with strawberry sauce to make the Union flag.

Coronation cake

Renowned for their delicious cakes, the Old Smithy, Godshill has made a special creation to honour His Majesty.

The Coronation cake is topped with raspberries and blueberries to form a Union flag.

Coronation cookies

Islander Glenys Smart and her family have made Coronation-style cookies!

Union flags, mini-Kings and Queens and even royal carriages are among the creations.
