A volunteer at the Isle of Wight's Wildheart Animal Sanctuary has braved the shave to raise money for the Sandown attraction's newest additions — rescued tigers, Softi and Toph.
After hearing about their tragic lives and their terror transport to Russia, Sarah Whitter decided she wanted to fundraise for the animals.
Sarah is a huge supporter of the sanctuary and, over the years, has raised a tremendous amount to care for and rehabilitate rescued animals.
The challenges have always been extreme, but this one definitely stands out from the crowd.

Despite some last minute nerves, Sarah bravely had her locks chopped.
Softi and Toph were discovered starving and terrified in the back of a horse box with eight other tigers, destined for a fate unknown in Russia.
One tiger had unfortunately already succumbed to the horrendous conditions, being found dead in her crate.
Rescued at the border, their journey is now complete as they can live out their lives in safety at the sanctuary in Sandown.
