Cowes Carnival returns this evening (Saturday), after missing 2022, with this year's event in memory of long-serving organiser Bob Hammond.

Run by the Island Carnival Federation, participants will gather on Ward Avenue at 6pm and move off at 6.30pm.

The main procession leaves Ward Avenue, Park Road, Victoria Road, Mill Hill Road, Birmingham Road, through the town onto the High Street, finishing on The Parade.
