An Isle of Wight woman's photo of Cappadocia in Turkey has won a photography competition run by travel website lastminute.com.
To mark its 25th birthday, the travel site searched for photos from far flung locations.
Mariesa Ford was among 25 winners whose work will be displayed on the London Eye pods.
There were more than 1000 entries from across the UK.
The most popular theme was time spent with family and friends, with the second theme being special occasions and romantic moments.
Nearly four in 10 images were of beautiful natural wonders, such as beaches and sunsets.
Mariesa also receives a £250 voucher, to inspire future travels and a ticket to the London Eye to see her photo on display.
She said: "We were really unlucky the first three days of this trip, as the balloons were cancelled every day.
"On the last day the balloons went up and it was one of those 'pinch me' moments.
"I was so excited to hear that I had won.
"Travelling is my passion and I love taking photos along the way to remember the special moments."
She hopes her photo will inspire the rest of use to travel and create memories.
