In places, there could be torrential rain, frequent lightning and gusty winds.
Driving conditions will also be affected by spray and standing water, leading to longer journeys by car and bus, the forecaster said.
Local forecaster, the Isle of Wight Met Service, has not yet issued a warning.
The current outlook for tomorrow, according to the IW service, is that thundery rain may clip the Island at times during the morning, although the majority of the thundery activity should be to the south and east.
