ONE OF Britain's greatest ever cyclists, Tour de France and Olympic gold winner Bradley Wiggins, will be coming to the Isle of Wight to talk to fans about his credible career.
The show, An Evening With Sir Bradley Wiggins, comes to Shanklin Theatre on Thursday, November 16.
Sir Bradley will talk about what brought him to cycling — and everything in-between.
The 43-year-old, who has worn the leader’s jersey in each of the three Grand Tours of cycling and held the world record in team pursuit on multiple occasions, won gold medals at four successive Olympic Games, between 2004 and 2016, and held the record as Great Britain’s most decorated Olympian with eight medals, until Jason Kenny won his ninth in 2021.
Sir Bradley is the only rider to win both the Tour de France and Olympic gold in the same year, winning them a week apart in 2012.
Also that year, he won the BBC Sports Personality of the Year award.
For tickets phone 868000.
The show starts at 8pm.
