THE Isle of Wight College is doing its bit to help those affected in the wake of recent flooding, offering a range of support services.

The college is providing the following support packages to the public and to access it, call 526631 (Option 0) this week, between 2pm and 5pm, from today (Tuesday) until Thursday:

  • Food parcels: The college’s dedicated staff and students are preparing food parcels for distribution. Please book your essential deliveries for Saturdays and Sundays.
  • Laundry facilities: Free use of the college washing machines and dryers can be booked on Wednesdays and Thursdays between 5pm and 8.30pm. Booking essential.
  • Hot showers: Available on Wednesdays and Thursdays between 5pm and 8.30pm. Booking essential.
  • Connectivity and comfort: Free Wi-Fi and a warm cup of tea or coffee available on Wednesdays and Thursdays between 5pm and 8.30pm. Booking essential.
