Both local and national forecasters have issued a yellow weather warning for rain on the Isle of Wight for this Saturday (November 4).
The Met Office has put a weather warning in place starting 3pm on Saturday through to midnight, with frequent heavy showers, along with gusty winds, expected.
The national forecaster says a spell of heavy rain followed by frequent, heavy and blustery showers is expected to affect the Island.
Around 20-30mm of rain could fall in some places, with perhaps as much as 40mm by the end of the day, the Met Office said.
Meanwhile, the Island's local forecaster, the IW Met Service, has issued a weather warning starting 4am on Saturday until 2am on Sunday (November 5).
The IW Met Service expects a large area of heavy rain to move across the Island through Saturday morning, with heavy showers sometimes merging into longer spells of rain for the rest of the period.
Overall, a few Island locations could see rainfall close to 40-45mm.
