The Red Jet service is currently suspended, as one vessel is stuck at the berth in Cowes.

Red Funnel has announced that the entire service is suspended this afternoon and the next update will be before 5pm.

There is a technical issue with the starboard engine on Red Jet 4, leaving her unable to depart the berth.

Engineers are on site and working on the problem.

A Red Funnel spokesperson said: "We apologise for the inconvenience caused to your journey."

UPDATE: Red Jet will return to timetable from the 6.30pm from Southampton and 7.05pm from Cowes.

UPDATE: Red Funnel now has a problem with the vehicle ferry, a technical issue. The 7.30pm from Southampton and 9pm from Cowes is cancelled.
