Organised by Kirsty Newnham, 55 riders gathered at Havenstreet War Memorial Shrine to observe a two-minute silence.
The riders honoured the fallen, both human and animal, with some horses sporting purple poppies – a symbol of remembrance for animals lost in service.
The War Memorial Shrine, on the hill overlooking the village, is dedicated to the memory of Second Lieutenant R. T. C. Willis-Fleming, of the Royal Horse Artillery and First Hampshire Battery, who served in Egypt and Palestine. He was killed in action at the Battle of Sinai in August 1916.
The Shine also contains memorials to other members of the family, in addition to plaques baring the names of those from Havenstreet and Binstead who died in the Great War.
Organisers would like to thank all the patient motorists who got caught up in Sunday’s annual event.
