Fans of Isle of Wight band The Bees are celebrating after the noughties rockers announced their long-awaited return.

A post on the group's Facebook page confirmed "the rumours are true".

The Mercury Prize-nominated band, who first formed in Ventnor, have said they will play four, "full band shows" early next year.

They last released an album back in 2010.

Fans will get to see the chance to see them once again when they come to Manchester, London, Leeds and Brighton.
