It is now three decades since the once-popular Isle of Wight nightclub, Zanies, on Sandown seafront, closed its doors.
To take a trip down memory lane, the County Press asked Islanders to send in some of their favourite pictures from the time.
From photos of party goers on the dance floor, to revellers donning their iconic 80s outfits, we've picked out just a few.
One image includes a County Press newspaper clipping, showing a write-up on the club's former Friday night event, Pandemonium.
Another shows the former DJ booth, which is being held by a gorilla's hand. Party goers said it used to rise in the air.
Janet Hickman sent in a photograph of her and her friend Juliet on a night out at the club.
She said: "It was a fabulous iconic Island Club, much-mourned by 80s stylists!"
Zanies, which was based on Sandown seafront, closed for the final time in December 1993.
30 years on, all that is left is a gaping hole where the nightclub once stood.
Most recently, plans were put forward for houses on the footprint of the former building.
In August 2023, revised proposals were submitted to build five, three-bedroom townhouses.
