A collision involving a car and a pedestrian blocked an Isle of Wight High Street this afternoon (Wednesday, December 6).
Police were called at 1.51pm following a collision involving a car and a pedestrian on Carisbrooke High Street.
Teams from the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service were also sent.

A spokesperson for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary said 'minor injuries' were reported.
The incident, which has happened near The Eight Bells pub, temporarily blocked the major route into Newport.
The road was closed while emergency teams dealt with the incident, but traffic has since returned to normal.
