A member of the Isle of Wight Young Farmers Club is to represent the Island - and the south of England - among the NFU's new Student Young Farmer Ambassadors 2024 cohort.
Sian Grove, 26 - aka @sians_woolly_wonders - is a first generation, part-time shepherdess.
She is fast becoming known in the Island's farming community for her work as secretary of the Royal Isle of Wight County Show.
She helps organise Gilten Market and is chairwoman of the Isle of Wight Young Farmers Club.
Sian joins fellow farmer, Sophia Ashe, in being the south's representatives.
The pair fought off competition to gain their positions on the programme.
It will see them attend events at parliament, learn more about the industry from peers and undertake training days.
Their aim is to keep food and farming front of mind, as we head towards the next election.
On Instagram, Sian said she was delighted and added: "Bring on the adventure!"
