Isle of Wight ferry firm Red Funnel has cancelled a number of sailings on its Red Jet service this morning (Saturday).

A 'technical issue' with a starter motor on one of its vessels is to blame, the company said.
From Cowes, the 9am, 10.20am and 11.30am sailings are off.
From Southampton, the 8.25am, 9.35am and 10.55am crossings are also cancelled.

A spokesperson for the firm said: "We apologise for the inconvenience caused to your journey."
Today's cancellations follow disruption on the service on Wednesday (December 27.
A revised timetable was put in place due to a fault with the engine room dampers on Red Jet 6.
Yesterday (28), there was also disruption Red Funnel's car ferry service.
On that occasion, 'ongoing maintenance' on the Red Falcon was to blame.
From January 3, Red Funnel will run fewer late night crossings on its Red Jet service.
The company said the decision has been made due to a "reduction in demand".
