ISLE of Wight musician, Amy Jolliffe, was ecstatic to meet one of her “heroes” in Olivia Rodrigo at the weekend – and even performed in front of the international music star.
The Grammy Award-winning musician was spotted at Yarmouth’s Wheatsheaf Inn last night (Saturday).
Amy was among those to speak to the 20-year-old musical sensation, and Enola Holmes star Louis Partridge was on hand to take a picture of the pair together.
“It was lovely to meet them both,” said Amy.
“They were so friendly and kind.
“I saw Olivia singing along to the songs I was playing.
“I joked to her that she should sing a song, and she said she'd leave that to me!
“I told her we share exactly the same birthday (same year and everything) and we were both excited about how crazy that is!
“It was a lovely experience. They say you shouldn't meet your heroes, but I met one of mine, and it was really cool.”
