Isle of Wight ferry firm Red Funnel is suspending its Red Jet service from late this afternoon (Friday).
It is the latest in a series of cancellations by the firm.
The latest reason given is 'limited availability of crew'.
The last Red Jets today will be 4.10pm from Southampton and 4.45pm from Cowes.

A spokesperson for the firm said: "We have unfortunately found it necessary to suspend our Hi-Speed service this PM from 5pm for the remainder of the day.
"We apologise for any inconvenience."
Yesterday (Thursday) car ferry services were off due to a blockage in the sewage system on the Red Eagle.
At least 12 crossings were scrapped on Wednesday and four sailings were cancelled on Tuesday.
The reason given was an issue with the Voith propulsion on the same vessel, the Red Eagle.
UPDATE: Red Funnel has issued a further statement.
A spokesperson from Red Funnel said: “We regret the cancellation of this evening’s Red Jet and sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused to our customers.
"The situation relates to the rare instance of the unavailability of a Hi-Speed captain and chief officer.
"Our team worked hard to explore all available alternatives, but due to legal requirements for staff rest, we were left with no option but to cancel our service tonight.
"Our vehicle ferry team will be on hand to help transport customers via our Southampton to East Cowes route.
"Customers will also be able to show their tickets for free travel on the Cowes Floating Bridge.
"Our dedicated staff will be working hard to assist and accommodate everyone affected by this situation and we sincerely appreciate our customers’ patience and kindness.”
