A bath and fridges are among a number of items which appear to have been fly-tipped on protected and conserved land on the Isle of Wight.
Photos show at least six large appliances left dumped, off Brading Downs Road.
The land where the items are, lies within an area known as the Isle of Wight National Landscape, formerly called an area of outstanding natural beauty (AONB).
A fridge, a bath tub, a microwave and what looks like a dishwasher have been pictured in the layby, at the side of the road.
Black bags can also been seen shoved in some of the appliances.
Fly-tipping is considered a criminal offence and it is illegal to dump large waste on public roads, land or into rivers.
If waste is found dumped, the Isle of Wight Council warns the person responsible could face a fine or prosecution.
The Isle of Wight County Press has contacted the Isle of Wight Council and Island Roads for a comment.
