From Harry Potter to Willy Wonka — children from across the Isle of Wight have been dressing up to mark World Book Day 2024.

The aim of the day is to promote reading for pleasure, offering every child and young person the opportunity to have a book of their own.

The Isle of Wight County Press asked proud parents to share pictures of their littles ones as they headed off for school.
