A major IT outage affected the Isle of Wight's McDonald's stores for a time this morning (Friday).
It's understood the issue impacted on the restaurant's ability to process orders.
Website Downdetector shows a surge in reports of the McDonald's app being down this morning.
National reports suggest the problem is worldwide with stores in other countries also affected.
The County Press has been told both Ryde and Newport branches are now open.
A McDonald's spokesperson reportedly said: "McDonald’s restaurants are experiencing an IT issue that’s impacting their ability to process orders.
"Our team is working to rectify the issues as soon as possible, and we thank customers for their patience.”
