This Easter the Shipwreck Centre and Maritime Museum at Arreton Barns will mark the opening of a new exhibition with some family activity days.

The Protected Wrecks Exhibition has been made possible thanks to funding from The National Lottery Heritage Fund.

It is another exciting development for the museum, which is set to move into a new site in Yarmouth.

Go along and learn about the protected wrecks which lie off the coast of the Isle of Wight and join in with the family craft activity to make your very own Shipwreck Memory Box.

Construct your own seabed complete with sand, sea shells and a miniature wreck, research the protected wreck of your choice and add the name and some facts about the wreck to your memory box.

The family activity days take place on Tuesday, April 2, Friday, April 5, and Thursday, April 11.

Usual admission charges apply, and the rest of the museum will be open as usual.
