A waterlogged site has forced the postponement of the annual Isle of Wight Spring Art and Garden Fair, which was due to be held this weekend.
In a statement, Northwood House, which runs it, said the impact of so much rain on Northwood Park had made "delivering the event to the usual standard nearly impossible.
"The Met Office continues to forecast more wet weather, which will only contribute to the issues on the site we are facing."
Instead, it will now take place on May 18 and 19, both inside and outside the historic house in Cowes.
Entry tickets pre-purchased for this weekend will be valid for the rescheduled dates instead.
Organisers say they will be in email contact with all those who had bought tickets to arrange refunds, if required.
Previously, the event has hosted more than 90 exhibitors, including garden and plant nurseries, in Northwood Park.
Meanwhile, work has been showcased by Island artists, inside the Grade II listed house.
There has also been a bar and a tea tent, with live music, as well as Morris dancing, and a display of vintage tractors and cars.
Proceeds from the event have helped Northwood House Charitable Trust fund ongoing restoration.
