The Isle of Wight is welcoming royalty today (Wednesday).
His Royal Highness Prince Edward is on the Island for a number of engagements.
The Duke of Edinburgh is visiting for the reopening of Newport Minster, which has undergone major refurbishment.
HRH, who is the royal patron of the Friends of Newport Minster, is to be among 400 specially-invited guests at the service to celebrate the completion of the project.

He is also scheduled to visit the bottling plant at Wight Crystal, Daish Way, Newport.
While here he is also expected to head to Cowes, to meet Royal Yacht Squadron Foundation apprentices at Clare Lallows Boat Yard, on Medina Road.
He is also set to visit the Royal Yacht Squadron on The Parade.
Prince Edward last visited the Island in 2022, when he paid a trip to Pan Together, alongside the Duchess of Edinburgh.
Later this month, the Princess Royal, Princess Anne, is also due on the Island.
