A McDonald’s restaurant on the Isle of Wight has stopped serving customers this evening (Wednesday, May 8).
UPDATE: The restaurant has since reopened.
It is understood that McDonald's, on Brading Road in Ryde, has been temporarily closed following an issue with the restaurant's grill.
Workers at the fast food chain are said to be turning people away at the front door.
The restaurant's drive-thru has also been closed, with cones blocking the entrance.
The County Press understands that the grill could be fixed within the hour.
