Miss Teen Isle of Wight Chloe Neale is preparing for the grand final of Miss Teen Great Britain.
Chloe, a former student of Ryde Academy, is beginning preparation for the competition in Blackpool later this year after being crowned locally.
The competition says it celebrates much more than the beauty of its entrants, and participants like Chloe are picked for their achievements in academia and their interests such as the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme.
By 16, Chloe had left Ryde Academy with nine GCSEs as well as the equivalent of three A-levels from her studies at the at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts.
She is now studying for a diploma in musical theatre at The Hammond.
Chloe, along with the whole Miss Teen GB team, is taking part in the 99,000-step challenge to raise money for the charity Together For Short Lives, which supports families who have terminally ill children.
Chloe said: “I am so grateful to everyone who helped me get here. I can’t wait to experience something like this which will be a first for me.”
