On July 4, the entire country will go to the polls for the 2024 General Election.
But two Isle of Wight areas are also looking for new local councillors.

Residents in Ventnor West and Shalfleet East will have the opportunity to cast two votes - one to choose the new MP and one to choose a new town/parish councillor.
In Ventnor West, voters can choose between Linda Jefferies and Marzena Turner for the place on the town council.
In Shalfleet East, voters can choose between Jonathan Hill and Edward Surridge for the place on Shalfleet Parish Council.
