The IW Armed Forces Day event is taking place on the Esplanade, mostly at the Eastern Gardens - but Appley and Ryde Beach will also be excellent viewing spots.
The Red Arrows' signature moves include corkscrew, vortex, detonator and the much-revered heart and spear.
The Red Arrows could be heard or seen for a brief flypast later in the afternoon, from Ventnor and Shanklin, with the team's flightpath to the Folkestone Armed Forces’ Day Display seeing the planes fly close to the Island at around 2.23pm.
