Isle of Wight ferry firm Wightlink has announced cancellations on its Fishbourne to Portsmouth this morning (Tuesday).
The absence of an essential crew member is being blamed for the car ferry disruption.
From Fishbourne, the 7.40am and 9.40am sailings are cancelled, while the 6.40am and 8.40am crossings from Portsmouth are also off.

A spokesperson for Wightlink said: "We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience this action will cause but we have been unable to source short notice cover for the absent members of staff and so have taken this action as a last resort."
Emails have been sent to affected customers.
Meanwhile, Red Funnel is continuing to run a revised timetable on its East Cowes to Southampton car ferry.

An issue with the Voith unit on its vessel, Red Eagle, is the cause.
Leanna Lakes, operations director, for RF said: "We are working closely with the team at Voith to diagnose and resolve the problem; however, this will require time.
"We will issue another update once we have more information and a clearer understanding of when the vessel can return to service."
